In the past I have put together general themes I want to explore. This worked really well for 2022-2024. Themes like “Alice in Wonderland, Violence, and ArtHouse Thirst Traps worked well.
However I realized between 2024-2025 that there were three types of people and I want to explore this.
1) People with Style and Imagination
2) People with Imagination
3) People with Style
4) People who don’t have style or imagination
I’m done with group 4 altogether - period. And I will be reducing all my personal shoots over the next year to only people who fit Group 1 (so if you are in 2 or 3, I kindly ask you step up!).
At 130-150 shoots per year, I don’t have time to shoot half-assed, unfinished, uninspiring clothes/costumes. I want to focus that energy on people who will give to my images as much as I, and others, give to the work. If I wanted a model to show up with a bag of clothes, I would just call modeling agencies and have them send me a new face who needs something for their portfolio - but I want artists and artists only now. So, if you are reading this, I assume you are in the artist category as well.
I also want to find people who can fit in to my world: rolling down hills, climbing scary places, running in heels, enduring crazy weather, etc - You know the world! Ofc I will meet everyone halfway - but It’s just time, in 2025, to really make the switch exclusively to people who care.
It’s not about me - it’s about the art. It’s about you and me and the others making work that excites people and wonder “how did they do that?”
FOREVER HALLOWEEN
Bring costumes and theatrics, not outfits. Bring characters, not “looks.” Pretend it’s Halloween - have fun, be wild, be funny, be sexy, be weird, be scary, be whatever - stop trying to fit in and use your imagination!
It doesn’t have to be realistic or based on a specific role - but we should be able to imagine this character in a movie, book, etc. I don’t want to shoot you how you think you are, I want to shoot you how you could be.

BODY AS ART
I wore the same things, every day, for 5 years (black shorts and black cotton shirts). At one point I thought how silly it was - I was covering my body with thin fabric so that people wouldn’t see skin. I look around and that is how I see most everyone now. We go to work to pay for fabrics that we carry around on our bodies.
For the artist-exhibitionist - we use materials for clothes: liquid latex, tights, strings, ropes, flour, paint, Etc. It’s exploring the idea of “we are all already nude - so what defines clothes?”
It’s a messy shoot. Shot in nature or a garage or something where you feel free and comfortable. It’s exploring materials on body.
