HOW DOES PAYMENT WORK?
50% of the total is due to reserve your shoot. The remaining balance due the day of the shoot. I accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay and Venmo.
HOW LONG ARE THE SHOOTS?
About 1-4 hours depending on how many looks you buy.
CAN I BUY MORE LOOKS ON THE DAY OF THE SHOOT?
Yep.
HOW MANY LOOKS SHOULD I BRING?
I’d suggest bringing 2x as many looks as what you plan to shoot. We should have options in case one of the looks doesn't photograph as well as anticipated.
WHEN DO I GET THE IMAGES?
Final images are delivered within 5 business days of the shoot via email.
WHAT ABOUT HAIR, MAKEUP, and STYLING?
Hair, makeup, and styling are not included in the package. Please have all styling, hair, and makeup sorted before the shoot to keep us on time.
ARE THERE FEES FOR TRAVEL?
- Shoots with the TMZ in LA do not require travel expenses when I’m already in the LA area
- Shoots within Manhattan, Brooklyn, and inner Queens do not require additional fees in NYC when I’m already in the NY area.
Anything outside of these areas, and any additional fees (gas, tolls, drive time) would be discussed before the shoot.
ANY ADVICE ON RENTAL LOCATIONS?
If you don’t want to do outdoors, I would suggest your home, a hotel, or using Peerspace is an excellent place to find locations.
I WANT TO DO A SUPER CONCEPTUAL SHOOT/HIRE A TEAM/USE THESE FOR MY ALBUM ARTWORK/DO A PRESS KIT! THESE ARE THER RATES FOR THAT?!
No. These inexpensive shoots are geared toward people wanting quick and easy shoot for artful content on their social. Please notify me if you plan to use the work for sale of products - additional licensing fees may apply. Commercial rates will also be considered if it’s looking less like a simple shoot and more like a conceptual project that requires more time. I LOVE doing conceptual work however they take up a lot of time and need to be charged appropriately.
WHO OWNS THE COPYRIGHT?
I (Michael Donovan) owns full copyright to the images. Please contact me to get written authorization for usage beyond our initial agreement here.
WE HAVE A BAND. CAN WE USE THESE PACKAGES?
These packages are strictly for individuals. Please discuss rates for groups of 2 or more - its a slight markup but nothing crazy.
WHAT IF THE WEATHER GOES TO SHIT?
Usually we can make the weather work for us - even when its pouring. But if the weather goes sideways and I cannot make it work, we will reschedule for another day. People coming from out of town should discuss options prior to shooting for backup.
